Paquito or "Vills" commanded the 1st Battalion CCAFP. He joined the Navy Frogmen after graduation. He led the UOU Team in the Island  of Tawi-Tawi, Sulu where his young bride Felicidad joined him for their honeymoon. She stayed long enough to bear their one and only child; they named appropriately "Tawina". Promoted to Ltjg. he was sent to San Diego, California, USA for the UDT course. A week before their graduation in 1960, he had a fatal accident during their last deep dive. What a great loss!
