Dohme or "Lics" topped the second PMA entrance exam for our class. He "rotted" many times in his Plebe year for being a topnotcher. (As a Plebe it was convenient to be anonymous) He joined the Navy after graduation but found out that the military was not for him. A certain Cdr. Pascua, his last CO aboard ship applied on Lics the last straw, a treatment unheard of from a senior officer. Lics resigned and devoted himself to teaching young minds for better tomorrow.
