Yanie or "Brazzi" was not   only muscle and brawn but brains, too. He topped our PMA entrance examination   besting more than 2000 aspirants. On his first Christmas Break, his family   met him at the train station. His helpful cousin fell to the ground when  he took from Yanie his valise  full of bodybuilding paraphernalia ---  barbells, weights,  etc. Those were his life's simple pleasure. But the good die young. In his Anti-Insurgency deployment in Magalang Pampanga, 2Lt. Brazzi, in 1960 barely 2 years in the service,  was ambushed. When reinforcements   came, they found him surrounded with empty shells clutching an expended BAR, killed in action. He's indeed a true and real Bayani.
